About Us
Investing in People, Securing the Future

Who We Are
The Izhi Tehu Foundation (ITF) is a community-driven, development-oriented organisation committed to human capital development, cultural preservation, and sustainable empowerment across Izhi land and Ebonyi State. Our work is anchored on the belief that no society rises beyond the quality of its people.
In response to rising youth unemployment, skills mismatch, educational attrition, and moral disorientation, ITF has designed a Four-Year Integrated Youth Empowerment Programme focused on education, skills acquisition, innovation, and value reorientation.
The Challenge
Across Izhi communities, many young people face:
- Limited access to quality education and scholarships
- Inadequate employable and digital skills.
- High unemployment and underemployment
- Weak transition from schooling to productivity
- Erosion of values, mentorship gaps, and loss of direction
Without deliberate intervention, these challenges threaten the social and economic future of the region.

To be a model Foundation promoting unity, progress and development of Izhi clan.
